As we expand our footprint in Africa, we are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader to oversee and grow our operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Country Manager to lead our business operations in Congo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing the local team, establishing partnerships, ensuring efficient operations, and delivering on key business objectives. This role requires a strong background in general management, sales, operations, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operations in Congo. - Oversee day-to-day business functions including sales, distribution, finance, and customer service. - Set and drive the achievement of performance targets and operational goals. - Develop and implement market-entry and expansion strategies. - Build and manage a high-performing local team. - Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies. - Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, suppliers, and customers. - Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth. - Report regularly to senior leadership on business performance, risks, and progress. - Drive brand visibility and local customer engagement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. - Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in a managerial role, preferably in FMCG, energy, or tech-related industries. - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational execution skills. - Proven track record in managing teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Fluency in French and English is required. - Familiarity with the DRC market and business environment is highly desirable.
