Dome9 is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our field sales organization with lead qualification and outbound tele-prospecting into regional enterprise accounts. The SDR is a key member of the enterprise sales team and responsible for establishing qualified meetings for the Regional Sales Manager. This is an entry level inside sales role is intended to develop a career in technology sales.
As an SDR, you are the first line of contact with prospects and must excel in establishing meaningful conversations with a variety of IT Security, Director level and C-level decision makers. You need to possess excellent communication skills to quickly build relationships through question-based engagement, and be able to create differentiating value to open interest in Dome9's solutions. This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who is resilient and innovative in building and executing personalized sales development prospecting campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Making 60-80 calls per day to build and manage lead development pipeline
- Prospect into multiple organizations via cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, and utilizing Internet information sources
- Articulate the Company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest. Promote SaaS solution with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
- Achieve or exceed goal for establishing first meetings on a monthly basis
- Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
- Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
- Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology - and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
- Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
- Social Media Monitoring: Engaging with social media platforms, creating alerts on keywords, researching topics and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses
- Update prospect interaction in Salesforce.com
- Having the desire and energy to complete a high volume of daily calls/activities.
- Build strong relationships and partner with enterprise sales managers to build sales growth in the designated territory
Qualifications
- 1 year of sales development experience, software technology preferred
- Strong hunter with demonstrated ability to engage in meaningful conversations and handle objections
- Proficient with Salesforce.com, Webex, Office applications and Salesloft
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and adaptive to rapidly-changing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion & influence
- Strong desire and ability to evolve sales skills and technical product knowledge
- Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, and other
