Essential Job Functions Position: Bar Back Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.) · Set bars for lounges and receptions according to SOP · Replenish and order beverages and supplies according to par levels · Stock supplies · Clean and organize bar areas in both front and back of house · Execute job in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures while incorporating 5 Star, 5 Diamond guidelines · Ability to convey intelligent, friendly, informative conversation with guest · Knowledgeable of Greenbrier amenities and social areas Secondary Responsibilities: · Knowledgeable of professional bar service · Knowledgeable of Mixology · Taking and filling beverage orders · Taking and filling food orders · Knowledge of wine and wine presentation Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days) · Eight hours shifts, five days a week · Weekends and holidays In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees. Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.) · Restaurant bus server or waiter trained; previous general kitchen work preferred · Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study) · · Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents) · Able to convey pleasant, 5 Star appropriate conversation with guest · Able to communicate in clear and concise manner with internal and external guest in written and verbal language · Stock requisitions · Telephone and pager use Technical Requirements: · POS knowledge ·
