In-house Art Director

Responsibilities: · Work with a team of creatives and layout artists to execute annual reports, proxy statements, sustainability reports, and other corporate documents for US corporations. o Ideating and designing compelling studies, putting reader needs and strong company branding at the forefront of your design. o Collaborate with the Manila Production team to deliver a high volume of work on time. · Communicate and explain design ideas confidently to the Manila production team, the US counterparts and possibly to some US clients. · Maintain in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of report design trends and the US cultural and business landscape. Qualifications and Skills: · Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent · Experience in an established Advertising or Creative Agency in the same capacity as Art Director is preferred. · Preferably more than 5 years of experience specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent. · Preferably 2-4 years of experience managing work of different artists / typesetters. · Preferably 2-4 years of experience working on Corporate Annual Reports. · Can do work with minimal supervision and deliver output in a timely manner. · Willing to work extended hours and during weekends / holidays. · Can communicate and present clearly and confidently his/her design ideas in written or spoken English or Tagalog. · Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City. · Can start as soon as possible. · Full-Time positions are available Desired design competencies: · Expertise in typography, print design, and infographic design · Ability to conceptualize design quickly to meet fast turnaround times · Possesses strong problem-solving and information visualization skills. · Technical knowledge in printing is a plus · Report design experience (annual reports and sustainability reports) is a plus Desired design competencies: · Has high technical skill in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. * *Interested applicants must present their portfolio Behavioral Traits Requirements: · A high degree of integrity and personal responsibility · A high level of adaptability and tolerance for stress and pressure · Strong sense of initiative, goal orientation, and enthusiasm · Willingness to do shift work including night shift, work extended hours and render weekends/holidays work
