Job description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Team Lead to oversee and coordinate the office-based project management team responsible for cost estimation, project planning, procurement coordination, and project delivery. This is a leadership and resource management role focused on internal team supervision, not on-site execution. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of experience in construction project management and cost control, with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources effectively, and ensure alignment across multiple active projects. We are looking for someone who is positive, adaptable, and flexible, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.This role is based in our Jordan office and will be central to driving project consistency, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the in-office project team, including project managers, estimators, and project coordinators. Oversee workload distribution and resource planning to ensure optimal team performance and timely project delivery. Supervise the preparation of estimates, budgets, schedules, bid packages, and procurement coordination. Drive alignment across project documentation, cost control processes, and reporting standards. Support and oversee pre-construction activities, stakeholder coordination, and subcontractor scope development. Collaborate closely with teams across different regions to align execution strategies, share resources, and ensure cross-regional consistency. Ensure accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and change management across all projects. Enforce quality standards, procedural compliance, and cost management best practices. Serve as the point of contact between office-based teams and field/execution teams, supporting smooth handovers and issue resolution. Provide regular updates to senior management, including team performance metrics and project health dashboards. Support training and upskilling of team members and assist with future team growth and hiring. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in construction project management, cost control, or estimation, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex projects. Strong experience managing or coordinating multidisciplinary office-based teams (estimators, PMs, coordinators, cost engineers). Prior experience working with or supporting international project teams, especially across time zones and regions (e.g., the United States and Egypt), is highly preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership, resource planning, and team coordination capabilities. Deep understanding of preconstruction workflows, cost control, project lifecycle management, and subcontractor coordination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders in multiple countries. Proficient in using project management tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Excel. High attention to detail, with strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently while driving accountability. Fluency in English is required
