Senior Legal Counsel

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to support Gorilla Technology's global operations. This role will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions, contract review, corporate governance, compliance, and litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to operate independently in a fast-paced international environment and partner closely with internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. Roles & Responsibilities: Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS, vendor and procurement contracts, partnerships, technology licensing, and professional services agreements. Provide legal support for global business operations, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives. Advise management and business teams on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and compliance matters. Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, shareholder matters, subsidiary management, and corporate secretarial coordination. Manage and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions. Assist with litigation management, dispute resolution, employment matters, and regulatory inquiries. • Support M&A, financing, investment, and restructuring transactions as needed. Develop and improve internal legal processes, templates, and compliance programs. Provide practical and commercially focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., J.D., or equivalent); qualified lawyer in at least one jurisdiction preferred. 5–10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with international law firm experience. Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus. Strong experience in commercial contract negotiation and cross-border compliance. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in technology or the SaaS industry is a strong advantage.
