Job description
Responsible for creating, preparing, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Follow Integrated Food Safety and Standards Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checks. Complete required paperwork including bar transfer, hygiene, laundry, and guest supplies. Complete mis en place before, during and after operations. Taking guest food and drink orders according to operational standards, ensuring accuracy of items ordered and guest preferences when communicated, and up-selling whenever possible. Maintain per levels of liquors, beers and supplies in coolers and dry storage areas, order as needed. Perform daily and monthly inventory with zero (0) audit findings and discrepancies. Adhere to departmental standards and company policies. Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department. Requirements Minimum two (2) years' experience in bar, restaurant, and hotel operations. Knowledge of internationaL, creative cocktails, spirits, liquors and wines Knowledge of applicable local laws and regulations. Can administer cashiering functions after completion of the training Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments. Can assist in providing justifications for monthly and annual inventory audit findings.
