Testing - Drone Pilot

Key Responsibilities Drone Operations Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight drone operations as per mission requirements. Execute drone missions for logistics delivery, surveillance, mapping, and inspections. Ensure compliance with DGCA/aviation regulations and company SOPs. Perform mission planning, route setup, payload configuration, and flight authorization. Field Engineering & Technical Support Assemble, configure, and deploy drones, payloads, sensors, and ground control systems. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on drones and accessories. Diagnose hardware/software issues and coordinate with R&D for escalations. Conduct field testing and validation of new drone platforms and features. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols, checklists, and risk assessment procedures. Maintain flight logs, incident reports, and maintenance records. Ensure safe handling of batteries, electronics, and payload equipment. Client & Site Coordination Coordinate with clients, site teams, and local authorities for mission execution. Provide on-site technical support and training to operators or customers when required. Represent the company professionally during field deployments. Documentation & Reporting Prepare mission reports, flight data analysis, and operational feedback. Document field learnings to improve SOPs, safety, and system performance. Assist in creating operational manuals and training material. Requirements Education Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or related fields) Technical Skills Hands-on experience with multirotor or fixed-wing drones Understanding of: Flight controllers & GCS (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot) GPS, IMU, telemetry, RC systems Batteries (LiPo/Li-ion), charging & safety Familiarity with payloads such as cameras, LiDAR, or sensors is a plus Certifications (Preferred) DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (India) or equivalent UAS/Drone operation certifications Benefits -Opportunity to work on cutting-edge drone technology -Hands-on exposure to real-world drone deployments -Fast-paced learning environment with growth opportunities -Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
