Seismic Consulting Group is seeking a highly driven and innovative Brand and Corporate Communications Specialist to spearhead the development and execution of branding, content, and communications strategies that position our firm as a leader in the consulting and development sector, especially in projects supported by donor funders and developmental organizations across Africa and globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Seismic’s public image, enhancing its visibility, and leading the creation of content and campaigns that attract high-value clients, donors, and partners in the development and humanitarian sectors. Key Responsibilities: Brand Management: Develop and uphold a consistent brand identity across all communications, ensuring it aligns with Seismic's mission, vision, and values. Content Creation and Strategy: Create and implement content strategies that effectively communicate Seismic's value proposition to donor funders and development organizations, including impact stories, case studies, and project reports. Digital Marketing & SEO: Drive digital marketing initiatives with an emphasis on SEO-driven content, digital ad campaigns, email marketing, and website optimization to engage key stakeholders in the development sector. Public Relations and Media Engagement: Manage relationships with the media, and secure opportunities for press releases, media features, and public speaking engagements. Ensure the timely distribution of newsletters, thought leadership pieces, and other key content. Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.), creating content that resonates with potential clients, partners, and donors in the development sector. Website and Online Presence: Oversee the company website, ensuring it remains updated, engaging, and optimized for both user experience and SEO performance. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with senior consultants and project leads to translate successful project outcomes into compelling content and impact stories that resonate with donors, funders, and partners. Reporting and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, social media activity, and content engagement using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and others. Provide actionable insights and strategies for improvement. Requirements Key Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in brand management, corporate communications, digital marketing, or public relations, ideally within consulting firms, NGOs, donor-funded organizations, or developmental sectors. Education: A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, International Development, or a related field. Communication Expertise: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives and thought leadership content that resonates with stakeholders in the donor and development community. Digital Proficiency: Expertise in managing digital marketing platforms, SEO optimization, and content management systems. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term communication strategies that align with business objectives and donor expectations. Creative Skills: Ability to think creatively and strategically in producing impactful campaigns and marketing materials.
