To strengthen our material ecosystem and maintain a market-leading product portfolio, we are looking for a highly organized, research-driven, and detail-oriented Category Manager who can continuously evolve our material offerings and catalog systems. Role Summary The Category Manager will be responsible for developing, organizing, standardizing, and continuously improving WallsToHome's material and product ecosystem. The role involves ownership of product categories such as: · Laminates · Acrylic Finishes · PU Finishes · Membrane Finishes · Veneers · Quartz Countertops · Granite Countertops · Sintered Stone · Hardware & Accessories · Wardrobe Systems · Kitchen Accessories · Handles & Profile Systems · Decorative Panels · Glass & Mirror Solutions · Flooring Materials · New-age Interior Materials The objective is to ensure our designers and customers always have access to a curated, updated, standardized, and market-relevant material selection. Product Catalogue Development Develop and continuously improve physical and digital product catalogues. Responsibilities include: · Designing category-wise collections · Creating sample boards · Organizing material libraries · Defining collection themes · Updating discontinued products · Introducing new launches · Managing catalog versions · Coordinating with catalog manufacturers Expected outcome: A professional, customer-friendly material selection experience. Sources may include: · Vendor meetings · Exhibitions · Trade fairs · Online research · Industry publications · Factory visits (if required) · Vendors performance review · Vendor Onboarding & Deboarding Requirements Experience Preferred: 3–5 years experience in interiors, materials, procurement, product management, furniture manufacturing, or related fields. Experience working with: · Interior designers · Material suppliers · Hardware vendors · Furniture manufacturers will be highly advantageous. Employment Type: Part-Time Consultant / Part-Time Employee Work Mode: Remote Location Preference: Bengaluru Studio Visit Requirement: Once per week (1–2 hours) at our Bangalore studio for catalog reviews, material inspections, and stakeholder discussions.
