Job description

Main Purpose To perform reporting, data analysis and forecasting to support the development and maintenance of Retail Credit Risk strategies for acquisitions and/or existing customers. KEY OUTCOMES Analysis and Reporting Champion Challenger Strategies Participate in Analysis of Strategy Performance and Initiatives Stakeholder Management Self-development Requirements TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Management Information Production Data Quality Risk and Return Analytical Models, Metrics, Matrices and Tools Financial Data Analysis and Predictive Modelling Governance and Compliance Structured Language Analytical Software and CVM Applications Statistics and Statistics Methodologies Credit Risk Policy Systems Credit Risk Regulations MINIMUM QUALIFICATION · University degree in business, statistics, operations research economics or industrial engineering or equivalent industry training and experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED · Experience in performing data analysis utilizing a standard statistical package such as SAS or SQL is required. · Practical experience in using analytics to solve complex business problems would be advantageous. · Experience in working with various data sets as well as ability to establish data integrity and relationships. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS · Passionate about data analytics and how this contributes to the business. · Proven ability to effectively communicate analytical insights and improvement recommendations. · Proven ability to work as a team player to ensure effective delivery of reporting, tasks, projects and any other related deliverables. · High level of PC literacy, ideally with the experience in the use of SAS. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), ideally using macros. · Ability to reason and package ideas and results in a logically ordered, understandable and practical way to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Exceptional time management skills to be able to complete tasks effectively to deadlines and manage multiple tasks. · Good communication skills, both written and verbal (including being able to run workgroups/meetings and minute-taking.)
