Job description

Job Summary The Video Editor will be responsible for shooting, assembling recorded footage, crafting compelling narratives, and creating visually stunning video content that aligns with SEID’s brand standards and client objectives. This role requires both technical expertise and creative vision, with an eye for detail and storytelling. Key Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video outputs for advertising campaigns, digital content, and brand storytelling. Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Creative Director, and Motion Graphics Designer to maintain visual consistency and brand tone. Incorporate sound design, color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects where necessary. Cut videos for multiple platforms (social media, TV, web) with attention to aspect ratios and viewing experience. Review scripts and storyboards to understand creative direction and project requirements. Manage and organize media assets, project files, and archives efficiently. Stay up to date on editing trends, tools, and techniques in the creative industry. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and brand integrity. Ensure final outputs meet client expectations and project objectives. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Production experience with the ability to shoot and handle production equipment 2–4 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in an agency, production company, or similar creative environment. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition. Familiarity with sound design, color grading, and motion graphics. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
