The SEO Specialist improves organic visibility and qualified traffic for The Portal Agency and client accounts. This role owns technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, keyword research, and content briefs, while coordinating implementation with developers, designers, and content writers. Success means measurable growth in qualified organic traffic, improved rankings for target keywords, and a healthy technical foundation. Key Responsibilities Technical SEO Run technical audits: indexation, crawlability, site architecture, performance, Core Web Vitals, and structured data. Identify issues and provide clear implementation tickets for developers (priority, impact, steps). Manage redirects, canonicalization, sitemap/robots rules, and URL hygiene. Monitor Search Console issues and resolve indexing or coverage problems. On-Page SEO & Content Optimization Optimize pages for target queries: titles, H tags, internal linking, schema, and content structure. Create content briefs: keyword intent, outline, entities, FAQs, and on-page requirements. Coordinate with copywriters/content team and QA final content for SEO compliance. Improve conversion intent from organic traffic through better CTAs and page structure (in collaboration). Keyword Research & Strategy Conduct keyword research aligned with business goals and funnel stages. Build content plans (clusters) for services, industries, and long-tail queries. Analyze competitors and identify gaps and opportunities (SERP analysis). Off-Page & Authority (as applicable) Support link acquisition strategy (digital PR, partnerships, citations) where relevant. Audit backlink profile and flag toxic links; coordinate disavow actions if necessary. Reporting & Improvement Track and report on organic performance: rankings, clicks, impressions, CTR, conversions/leads (when available). Maintain SEO dashboards and monthly insights report (what changed, why, and next actions). Run experiments and document learnings (title tests, internal linking, content refresh cycles). Requirements 2+ years of SEO experience with measurable results (portfolio/case examples preferred). Strong understanding of technical SEO and ability to communicate with developers. Strong keyword research and content brief writing skills. Comfortable using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush/etc.). Strong organization and follow-up discipline to push implementation. Arabic + English communication (business level).
