Job description

The Motion Designer creates high-quality motion graphics for ads, social content, brand videos, and presentations. This role turns scripts, key visuals, and concepts into engaging animations optimized for each platform, while maintaining brand consistency and production readiness. Success means clean timing, strong typography, good pacing, correct exports, and minimal revision loops. Key Responsibilities Motion Design & Animation Create motion graphics for paid ads, social content, reels, explainers, and brand videos. Animate typography, UI elements, icons, and brand assets with strong rhythm and clarity. Develop storyboards/animatics when needed to confirm pacing and structure. Adapt creative into multiple formats and durations (6s/10s/15s/30s, etc.). Editing & Compositing (as needed) Edit short-form videos (reels/TikTok-style) when required: pacing, text overlays, basic sound. Composite footage with motion elements (lower thirds, transitions, callouts). Apply basic color/cleanup when needed (or coordinate with editor/colorist). Quality & Production Readiness Follow brand guidelines and keep motion style consistent across deliverables. Ensure readability and safe margins for mobile-first formats. Export correct sizes, codecs, and file weights for each platform. Maintain clean project files: organized comps, naming, and version control. Collaboration & Workflow Work with Art Director/Designers to translate key visuals into motion. Collaborate with copywriters to ensure copy timing and readability. Coordinate with Account/PM for priorities, timelines, and feedback consolidation. Support performance team with variations for A/B testing (hooks, CTA timing, first 3 seconds). Requirements 2+ years of motion design experience (agency preferred). Strong portfolio showing motion graphics for ads/social/content systems. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects; good knowledge of Premiere Pro. Strong sense of timing, pacing, typography in motion, and composition. Ability to work fast without losing quality; comfortable with iterations. Basic Arabic/English communication for briefs and feedback.
