Fundraising and Sponsorship Intern

JOB TITLE Fundraising & Sponsorships Intern JOB SUMMARY The Fundraising and Sponsorships Intern will assist the Conservancy in supporting its fundraising efforts, including research, sponsorship package sponsorship writing, and sponsor engagement. This role will involve identifying potential sponsorship opportunities, preparing sponsorship proposals, and assisting in events and campaigns. The intern will collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations of fundraising initiatives and provide general administrative support. REQUIREMENTS • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and an interest in nonprofit fundraising or soliciting of sponsors. • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to interact with staff, donors, and potential funders professionally. • A passion for parks, nature, and conservation efforts is highly preferred. • Willingness to collaborate with staff and volunteers on various projects and events. RESPONSIBILITIES • Solicit sponsorship support for current and proposed future events that benefit the Park and the Conservancy alike • Assist in organizing in-person events such as programs, galas, concerts, and community gatherings to generate revenue. • Explore creative ways to diversify Brackenridge Park Conservancy's revenue, focusing on sustainable and community-driven strategies. • Build relationships with community members and organizations to encourage participation in events and initiatives. • Identify and evaluate sponsorship opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives. • Assist in drafting, formatting, and editing sponsorship proposals. Learn to develop budgets required for sponsorship applications.
