This internship offers hands-on exposure to the logistics and transportation industry, with a focus on carrier sourcing, compliance, and relationship management. The ideal intern is organized, personable, and comfortable communicating by phone. This role is designed to provide meaningful experience and skill development while supporting day-to-day carrier operations at Sunline Global. List of Key Responsibilities: Assist with identifying and onboarding qualified freight carriers in alignment with Sunline’s safety and service standards Conduct carrier compliance checks and verify credentials using internal vetting tools Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records in company systems Serve as a support point of contact for carrier questions and follow-ups Make outbound calls to carriers to confirm availability, discuss opportunities, and build rapport Communicate with the Carrier Sales team to align carrier sourcing with freight demand Assist in resolving basic carrier service issues and escalate concerns as needed Support the team by monitoring carrier capacity and learning regional market trends Process and organize documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive Skills, Knowledge and Attitude for Job: Must Have Knowledge of: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must Have Attributes/Attitudes/Aptitudes: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable making outbound phone calls Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Willingness to learn and take initiative Professional demeanor with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Receipt of this job description does not imply nor create a promise of employment, nor an employment contract of any kind, and the employment is employment-at-will.
