Job description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the development and optimization of a modern cloud infrastructure platform powering one of Denmark’s leading streaming services.
Working within the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will help build and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
This is a short-term contract opportunity (3-4 months).
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the cloud infrastructure platform supporting a large-scale streaming service.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud hosting solutions in AWS.
- Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform.
- Support and evolve the Amazon EKS platform and related cloud infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve automation, scalability, availability, and performance of services.
- Promote and implement cloud engineering best practices across platform design, operations, and security.
- Work closely with product owners and engineering stakeholders to improve the developer experience.
- Participate in production incident handling and reliability improvement initiatives.
We are looking for you, if you have
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining critical services in cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS operations and architecture.
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, and command-line environments.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, network isolation, and secrets management.

- Experience with ArgoCD.
- Experience working with multi-account AWS environments.
