Job description
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Project Engineer to support R&D projects within the Operational Logistics Integration Group at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) located in Bethesda, MD.
The Project Engineer will provide Technical and Programmatic Support for multiple Naval logistics R&D projects that are supporting a variety of Navy data analysis, data visualization, tool development, and logistics command and control software development work.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Assisting with creation of high level project goals and objectives, translating those into executable tasks, and leading multi-disciplinary team through task execution
Support planning for fund execution, obligation, and spend plans across multiple performers and projects
Communicate with Government sponsors directly
Support the development of briefing material as well as project and program reviews.
Act between the project planning and technical aspects of projects and programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
8+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of experience as a project engineer or program manager
3+ years of experience with Navy and/or DoD
Experience with financial planning for project execution
Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite
Strong Excel capabilities with regards to data analysis and financial management (i.e. making effective, organized spreadsheets for funds execution/management)
Demonstrated proficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and organization skills
Candidate must show strong initiative, be detail oriented, a team player, and communicate well

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
