We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York (other major metropolitan areas considered). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to support on compliance activities, including licensing, monitoring, research, reporting, training, and data analysis for corporate operations. The role identifies issues, makes recommendations, and escalates matters as needed. It also supports responses to regulators, assists with policy and procedure development, drafts compliance procedures, and advises business colleagues on compliance and licensing matters.

We will count on you to:

  • Support compliance activities with a primary focus on conflicts of interest (COI) and related compliance matters, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, company policies.
  • Analyze business operations to assess compliance impact and identify potential regulatory or conduct risks.
  • Participate in compliance investigations, including fact-gathering, issue review, and documentation of findings.
  • Support enforcement actions, including recommendations related to sanctions and remediation where appropriate.
  • Ensure proper documentation of compliance reviews, investigations, guidance provided, and resolution actions in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

What you need to have:

  • 3-5 year experience preferably within the insurance industry
  • Active insurance license
  • Experience with client engagement at a professional level
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,400 to $128,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
