DESCRIPTION: Join our team as a Global Strategic Marketing Manager for the MSD Electron Microscopy Material Science Services portfolio where you will play a key role in defining and executing the growth strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive revenue growth, customer value, and portfolio expansion across the Material Sciences Services business. You will leverage market intelligence, Voice of Customer insights, competitive analysis, and business performance data to identify growth opportunities increase customer value and strengthen our market position.

Your contributions will benefit the organization as you develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, create engaging content, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You'll translate complex technical benefits into clear value propositions, manage product launches, and contribute to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced Degree plus 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus10 years of experience in product marketing or product management experience in technical/scientific products
  • Preferred Fields of Study: business, marketing, sciences, engineering, or related field
  • Additional relevant certifications welcomed
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing product marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning
  • Excellence in creating marketing content, including presentations, whitepapers, and digital materials
  • Experience working effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience gathering and analyzing Voice of Customer (VOC) data
  • Project management expertise, including new product launches
  • Ability to translate technical features into compelling customer benefits
  • Proficiency in developing business cases and strategic marketing plans
  • Travel required 20-35%, including international travel
  • Experience in semiconductor, scientific instruments, or related industries preferred
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to build consensus and collaborate across organizations
  • Demonstrated success in implementing marketing initiatives and programs
