ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Works with global Trintech team in the areas of contract negotiation and contract administration duties for Trintech’s US new customer base
  • Ensures that contracts are negotiated, administered and closed in accordance with corporate policy and procedure
  • Prepares and revises client contracts and confidentiality agreements in accordance with Trintech contracting standards
  • Tracks contract drafts, authorizations, and correspondence in contracts database and provides information to internal business units regarding contract status, risk, compliance, and modifications
  • Provides contract interpretation assistance to internal business units
  • Sets priorities and brings conflicting priorities to Manager for assistance in resolving
  • Works within the Contracts Team’s metrics/timelines for completion of documents and participates in the development of department procedures and processes
  • Prepares, reviews and revises vendor contracts in accordance with Trintech contracting standards
  • Works within the Contracts Team’s metrics/timelines for completion of documents and participates in the development of department procedures and processes
  • Creates and communicates concise and consistent contract provisions
  • Performs other administrative support functions as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and current admission to the Texas Bar in good standing or other U.S. jurisdiction
  • 5-7 years of contract administration and contract negotiation experience; experience in global technology industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in contractual areas; knowledge of standard contract terms and legal terminology required
  • Strong organizational, reading comprehension, and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe including editing functions; proficiency with Salesforce contracts and library functions a plus
  • Strong time management skills to include the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities in managing a wide variety of projects, demonstrate initiative, accountability and see assignments through to completion
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and managers
  • Customer centric, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Handle multiple contract requests in fast-paced, team environment
