Position Summary:
The main roles of our Analysis Engineer will entail troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production line rejects (power module, IPM and inverter products) to support production operations as well as department and company objectives. This position involves hands-on component testing, detailed documentation, and communication of findings to internal stakeholders and customers. This role will involve the use of specified work processes, specialized measurement equipment, analysis techniques, and experience to process rejects and return to production. This engineer will support in development of correction actions which could include production equipment improvement mechanical and electrical improvements. This would be a fully onsite role to best support our large-scale manufacturing facility.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field; prefer EE/EET or ME/MET curriculum.
- Previous work experience in automotive field desired; work within Japanese company highly desired.
- Adept at problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of measurement technologies such as SEM, FTIR, electrical test equipment, and metrology equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to be used in interdepartmental communications, team-based investigations and occasional customer or vendor communications.
- Skill using various presentation software like MS Powerpoint and Excel and analytical software.
- Available to travel overseas for training as early as fall, 2026, and annually as needed. Travel to Japan would likely require 2-4 months stay.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities / % Time Spent Performing Duties:
- Work within analysis team performing analysis of automotive EV products: 60%
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and quality documentation: 20%
- Review manufacturing processes for improvement as related to analysis results: 10%
- Other duties as assigned: 10%

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide input and value.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively within multicultural and global business environments

- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulation
- Lead efforts for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance

- Ability to work overtime as needed and at times without notice. Mainly weekdays.
- Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting.
- Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the workday
- Ability to lift 35lbs from floor to a height of 4ft and to push or pull pallet jack up to 450lbs
- Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
- Ability to use hand tools and view small components through a microscope for extended periods of time.
- This position would be classified as exempt under applicable wage‑and‑hour laws. As such, this role is expected to exercise independent judgment and to work the time required to meet job responsibilities, which may include working in excess of 40 hours per week.
