Job Description
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
- Perform activities in accordance with the standard work defined for the position
- Follow up on the production plan established by the Planning department
- Participate in TIER 1, TIER 2, and TIER 3 meetings
- Apply 5S practices in the work area and follow up on findings derived from audits
- Execute and ensure that work instructions (sequence, content, timing, quality, and safety) are properly followed
- Approve, in coordination with support areas (Engineering, Materials, HSE, Quality, Training), changes to work instructions within their respective areas
- Ensure on-time completion of models that impact OTTR (on-time delivery to the customer)
- Ensure all operators comply with internal disciplinary rules
- Responsible for the management of assigned personnel (discipline, payroll pre-processing, attendance, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Follow up on the completion of assigned metrics and production reports
- Track production rejections and implement corrective actions in collaboration with support departments
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing people
- Intermediate to Advanced English (mandatory)
- Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Experience in SMT processes (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle and Revolution systems (preferred)
