We are looking for a Supplier Development Leader

What will you do?

  • Leading supplier development projects to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, capacity management, and sustainability goals are met.
  • Implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools to ensure supplier readiness for new product introductions and outsourcing projects.
  • Driving a culture of accountability by establishing clear KPIs and improvement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conducting capacity audits and scalability reviews to validate supplier capabilities and ensure their alignment with our operational demands.
  • Facilitating supplier trainings and structured problem-solving initiatives to address delivery and quality issues effectively.

How will you do it?

  • Taking ownership of outcomes with accountability, integrity, and a focus on safety, ensuring all processes align with organizational values and compliance standards.
  • Focusing on critical aspects by staying close to supplier operations and eliminating obstacles that hinder performance.
  • Utilizing APQP tools and methodologies to assess and approve supplier processes and parts efficiently, ensuring readiness for product launches.
  • Driving continuous improvement through candid assessments and innovative solutions to performance challenges, enhancing supplier capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating across diverse teams, fostering trust and shared goals to achieve seamless integration of supplier operations with company requirements.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or supply chain management.
  • Over 8 years of experience in supplier quality, development, or continuous improvement within manufacturing or supply chain environments, preferably on a global scale.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methodologies, with a proven track record of applying these tools effectively.
  • Exceptional project management and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight schedules.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including international trips, to engage directly with supplier operations.
  • Proficient in advanced quality planning tools and risk analysis techniques to support new product integration and supplier onboarding processes.
