The International Supplier Assurance Engineer (SAE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheon and our supply base. The SAE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information across other Raytheon teams. This role leads and supports the execution of Supplier Assessments, First Article Inspection verification, Source Inspection, problem resolution, and continuous improvement activities at suppliers. You will be a key player in the management of Supplier performance and development and represent Raytheon’s Vision, Values, Strategy and Goals in the international supply base.
This position is on-site at a Raytheon subcontractor facility, with home location in Warsaw, Poland. This position is primarily responsible for managing and developing this in-country subcontractor. Limited travel within Poland will be required to support suppliers in three different cities, not to exceed 75%.
This position is a 24-month international assignment in Warsaw, Poland, with potential for extension with additional compensation emoluments.

What You Will Do
- Interpret quality requirements and assist suppliers in the development of robust processes
- Ensure flow down of requirements internally and to sub-tier suppliers
- Assess/develop supplier’s quality capabilities throughout the product life cycle
- Identify and correct systemic performance issues
- Implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action
- Conduct collaborative communication with supplier, cross-business teams and customer
- Deploy effective Supplier Quality Management techniques
- Support supplier maintenance efforts such as recurring audits, special process upkeep, and certification maintenance.
- Work as the liaison between the Program and Subcontractor
- This position is an on-site role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6+ years’ experience
- Experience with Supplier Quality Management working with suppliers to understand and develop product to Raytheon and customer requirements
- Experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and/or standards of a commercial equivalent with any of the following: AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, ISO-9001, AS9145
- Experience with Military/Defense or Aerospace Industry specifications/standards
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with any combination of the following: Mechanical assemblies, large major end items, and testing
- Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes
- Experience with hardware inspection techniques
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon)
- International Experience, preferably in defense industry
- Experience working with Government Agencies in a production floor environment (such as DCMA, MDA, etc.)
- Practical knowledge of Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
