Job description
RVGT (Red Ventures Growth and Transformation) partners with Fortune 500 companies across financial services to deliver durable, scalable growth. We embed directly into our partners' businesses and take ownership of outcomes across the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through retention. Our differentiated model combines proven growth playbooks, deep industry expertise, C-level partnerships, and a proprietary agentic platform built to operate in regulated environments. We don't advise and hand off. We build and own.
The Senior Director of Agentic Client Operations is the connective tissue between strategy and execution within RVGT's client partnerships. This role owns the design and delivery of AI-powered workflows across a client account — building on the Director's technical depth while stepping into increasing ownership of strategic planning, client communication, and cross-functional team leadership.
This is a role for a builder who is ready to lead. You will own live production systems, manage a team of Directors and Analysts, and increasingly represent RVGT's strategy directly with client stakeholders. You think in systems, move fast, and hold yourself and your team accountable for measurable outcomes.
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and optional remote days on Mondays and Fridays each week. Client Travel required.
This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.

What You’ll Do:
Agentic System Design & Production Ownership
- Own the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of AI-powered workflows across assigned client workstreams — from initial architecture through live production management.
- Translate strategic objectives into scalable, production-grade system designs spanning multi-step automated workflows, API integrations, LLM-powered decisioning and RAG systems.
- Establish and iterate on evaluation and monitoring frameworks, including accuracy, latency, cost optimization (LLM/API usage), reliability, fallback logic, and observability.
- Operate with agility — continuously pivoting and refining systems as new data, model capabilities, and business needs emerge.
Strategy Development & Delivery Leadership
- Lead workstream strategy for your client account — defining roadmaps, pressure-testing with data, and owning delivery from concept through optimization.
- Partner with the VP to translate client business objectives into structured, executable system designs and workflow plans.
- Build business cases for new capabilities and initiatives, tying recommendations to quantifiable KPIs and P&L outcomes.
Data, Analytics & Performance Management
- Leverage SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and Python to understand user behavior, system performance, and business outcomes.
- Define and manage KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue — maintaining visibility into performance across all active workstreams.
- Translate complex system performance into clear business narratives for VP and client stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders on system design, roadmap progress, and performance outcomes.
- Communicate complex agentic architectures and operational decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support VP-level client relationships by preparing briefings, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations with increasing independence.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead and develop a team of Directors, Analysts, and Operators across the client team.
- Operate across cross-functional groups — including agentic workforce, data science/AI, compliance, creative, and engineering — driving coordination and accountability.
- Foster a culture of ownership, rigor, and continuous improvement within the team.
Business Development Support
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements through AI-driven transformation.
- Support RVGT's broader business development efforts by contributing agentic expertise, case studies, and performance data to proposal and renewal efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7–10 years of experience in digital operations, product, analytics, or technical strategy, with a strong track record of driving measurable business outcomes. Financial services experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI-powered or automated workflows in production, including systems that:
- Make decisions (not just trigger actions)
- Integrate multiple data sources and APIs
- Execute multi-step processes across tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of agentic systems and modern AI architectures — LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic), RAG, and API-driven workflows.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of direct reports in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities including SQL, BI tools, and Python experience.
- Deep experience defining and managing KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, scalable system designs and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting to client stakeholders and adapting technical complexity for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to operate with agility, creating structure and driving execution in environments with significant change.
