Currently, around 4,000 employees are working at CARIAD on the digital transformation of the car. CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

About our Group

CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test architecture for ADAS systems, Function.
• Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies across unit, Integration and SW Test for ADAS Function.
• Design scalable, modular, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Enable test case creation for real-time systems,
• Expertise in Test Design, strategies and Plan techniques and methods.
• Expertise in multiple domain technologies such as Audio, ADAS

• Establish standards for test automation, CI/CD integration, and vehicle/HIL /virtual testing.

• Oversee test data management, environment provisioning, and simulation setup (MIL/SIL/HIL).

• Define and refine the best practices, processes, and workflows.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
• Perform hands-on testing when necessary, setting an example for the team.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in ADAS testing
• Propose and implement innovative testing solutions
• Will be responsible as a Right Side of the V Model , Expanding ADAS practice by building Assets, Accelerators, PoCs, etc.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in test framework development, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems
• Expertise in Audio/Microphone Validation, test automation and verification techniques
• Strong knowledge of Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
• Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in test management tools and software
• Experience in working with CAN, Ethernet and SOME/IP protocols.
• Experience with sensor technologies (e.g., radar, lidar, cameras) used in ADAS.
• Good working knowledge of C language, CAPL scripting & Python Scripting, Test Management Tools.
• Good experience with CI/CD(e.g.,Github Actions/Docker/Jenkins).
• Good
• experience with Vector Tools(e.g.,CANoe, CANanalyser), dSPACE , HIL
