In This Role

You will support a confidential enterprise technology client in designing and developing internal digital tools that improve employee productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role will focus on creating user-centered solutions for internal business users across areas such as customer service, sales, account management, and marketing. A typical day will include gathering requirements, creating design artifacts, building UX/UI solutions, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and delivering high-quality design work at a fast pace.

The ideal candidate will bring strong UX and UI design experience, advanced Figma skills, and a portfolio that demonstrates polished visual design, user-centered thinking, and the ability to translate business needs into intuitive digital experiences. Experience working on internal tools, enterprise platforms, data-driven interfaces, or AI-enabled products is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to understand user needs, business goals, and software requirements.
  • Design, develop, and modify user interfaces based on end-user needs and business requirements.
  • Create design artifacts, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs using Figma.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility within timeline and cost constraints.
  • Support the design and development of internal tools for customer service, sales, account management, and marketing use cases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure designs align with business objectives, technical feasibility, and user experience standards.
  • Contribute to data-driven UI development and design decisions based on user needs, feedback, and business requirements.
  • Communicate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality design work quickly while maintaining strong attention to usability, visual quality, and consistency.
  • Support software system planning, layout recommendations, and interface improvements as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software design, UX/UI development, product design, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of UX design experience.
  • 5+ years of UI design experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Figma experience.
  • Experience designing and developing professional user interfaces.
  • Experience with data-driven UI development.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to gather requirements and explain design decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within time and cost constraints.
  • Portfolio required, demonstrating strong UX, UI, visual design, and design process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing internal tools, enterprise software, or business productivity platforms.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools, AI product experiences, or emerging technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting customer service, sales, account management, or marketing software.
  • Strong visual design portfolio with examples of polished, production-ready work.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across product, engineering, business, and design stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where performance is measured by speed and quality of deliverables.
  • Ability to balance strategic UX thinking with hands-on artifact creation and execution.
  • Remote work experience with flexibility to collaborate across time zones.

Salary Range

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $100,000– $120,000 per annum. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
