Certified Recovery Coach

AA facilitator at MCCI:

• Two four-hour works days
• Facilitate three one-hour AA classes, including "Open" and "12 Step" formats
• Meet with inmates on all housing units who wish to engage in additional AA services
• Provide AA literature to inmates upon request
• Provide information about AA meetings in the community to inmates who are scheduled for release
• Attend one-hour weekly Substance Abuse Services Staff Meeting per week; one-hour quarterly joint Staff Meeting with Substance Abuse Services and Social Services

Community Service Aide: ( two days a week as needed)

• Must have certification as a Recovery Coach.
• Will attend community events, meetings, and/or programs as a facilitator in resources, making connections for treatment, and providing education on substance use and recovery.
• Occasionally present educational programs on opioids to high school students.
• Will be required to drive the Hope One Truck representing the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.
