About The Role
We are seeking a Learning & Development Officer to join our Health and Safety team in our Perth corporate office.
Reporting to the Senior Learning and Development Specialist, this role is responsible for coordinating, designing and delivering learning initiatives with a strong focus on safety and compliance, ensuring our workforce capability aligns with both regulatory requirements and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and delivering safety-critical and compliance learning programs aligned to business needs and regulatory requirements
Designing and/or reviewing L&D initiatives and training materials, including presentations, session plans, learner guides, assessments and any procedures that support the creation/amendment of this material
Providing learning design expertise to subject matter experts to support the development of new operational training content and materials as required
Maintaining accurate training records and reporting to support compliance, audit, and workforce capability tracking
Supporting the L&D team with the setup and assignment of required training for contractors using the ServiceNow ticketing system
Traveling to other operational sites may be required during the course of your work to deliver specialised training or support L&D initiatives
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in learning and development, training coordination or a similar role
Exposure to compliance and regulatory training environments with demonstrated experience in delivering a range of operational courses
Proven ability in the design, development and delivery of learning content and materials based on training needs analysis
Experience using Learning Management Systems (Exposure to Workday Learning is highly regarded but not essential)
Exposure to the eLearning authoring platform Articulate 360
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes
