Job description

A Finance Manager in an automotive dealership oversees the financial and insurance (F&I) portion of vehicle sales. They act as the link between customers, lenders, and the sales team, ensuring deals are compliant, profitable, and efficiently funded.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Structuring & Compliance

  • Structure deals according to lender and dealership guidelines.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize all financial documents, contracts, titling, and registration paperwork
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer information.

Financing & Lender Relations

  • Submit credit applications and secure financing through a network of lenders.
  • Analyze credit reports and determine eligibility and loan options.
  • Maintain strong lender relationships and evaluate new lender programs.

Product Sale

  • Present and sell F&I products such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and credit insurance.
  • Use menu selling processes to maximize product penetration and profitability.
