About the role
You will play a central role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Level 2 and Level 3 Military Preparation programmes, inspiring and preparing learners for progression into careers within the Armed Forces and wider Public Services sector. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will serve within the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), supporting the delivery of a structured and engaging cadet training programme.
Working closely with the Head of Department, curriculum team, and the Cadet Training Team, you will plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and industry-relevant lessons that develop learners' knowledge, skills, discipline, and physical fitness. Your teaching will underpin all aspects of the learner experience, combining classroom-based learning with practical and field-based training to prepare students for entry into the Armed Forces and related career pathways.
This role could suit an experienced instructor or teacher, or a suitably qualified professional from a relevant background, with the ability to deliver high-quality fitness and military-focused training sessions.
You will be an effective and enthusiastic educator, capable of creating an inclusive and motivating environment where learners are supported to achieve their full potential. Through your teaching, you will help learners build resilience, leadership, teamwork, and the professional behaviours required for success in the Public Services sector.
