About the role

Emmanuel CE Middle School is looking for two Teaching Assistant G5 to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £14,488-£14,718 per annum (Grade 5 pay award pending)

This job is Part Time - Term Time Only for 25 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.

It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31/08/2027.

Approximate start date 01-Sep-2026.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working with pupils with educational needs and will be able to work and liaise with the SENDCo and other agencies if required to develop and implement appropriate strategies.

We are also looking for a person who is enthusiastic, well-motivated, can work as part of a team and who has the skills and experience to assist teachers in promoting high standards of achievement and behaviour and be willing to support the Christian ethos of the school. This role may include some lunchtime supervision duties.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
