Care Assistant - Uckfield

What You'll Earn

£12.80 - £15.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Paid travel time

45p per mile mileage

Flexible Shift Patterns

07:00 - 14:00

14:00 - 22:00

16:00 - 22:00

(Weekdays & weekends available)

What the Role Involves

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll support clients with both practical tasks and meaningful companionship. You'll be:

Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support

Helping with daily routines like getting up, dressed, and ready for the day

Supporting with personal care such as washing, bathing, and grooming

Preparing meals and helping with shopping

Carrying out light household duties like cleaning, laundry, and bed making

Assisting with medication and wellbeing

Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings

Working alongside healthcare professionals and keeping accurate care records

No two days are the same - you'll be guided by personalised care plans to meet each client's individual needs.

Who We're Looking For

Caring, compassionate and reliable individuals

Confident drivers with access to a vehicle

Strong communication skills

Experience in care is welcome, but not essential - full training provided
