AC Hotel Kingston - HVAC Engineering Technician

HVAC Engineering Technician The incumbent will be responsible for all engineering functions assigned to ensure the Hotel achieves its mission, vision, and targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to and attend to guests' repair requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Display advanced ability to read standard blueprints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a Hospitality environment. Specific Skills and Competence Required:
• Effective communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time and stress management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
