About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest social care charities, supporting thousands of people to live independently and thrive in their communities.

Since 1988, we've been at the forefront of person-centred care, helping people move away from institutional living and into homes where they can enjoy greater choice, dignity and opportunity.

Today, with over 6,600 colleagues across England and Scotland, we continue to lead the way - finding new, creative and impactful ways to improve lives every day.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role

You'll be supporting a group of 12 individuals aged between 21 and 72 , all with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, mental health and sensory communication differences.

This is a lively, energetic service where people enjoy making the most of every day. There's a real sense of personality here - people love music, dancing, socialising, and spending time together, as well as enjoying their own space and routines.

Life is varied and active. One day you might be supporting someone to relax in the garden or hot tub, another you'll be heading to the seaside, a local event, or out for the day - which is why a full UK manual driving licence is essential .

This is also a role that requires resilience. At times, you'll be supporting people through emotionally or physically challenging situations , so it's important you can remain calm, confident and consistent, helping people feel safe and understood.

You'll be part of a large, well‑trained team of around 50 colleagues , working together to deliver high-quality, person-centred support. Every shift is hands‑on, meaningful and focused on building strong relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting people with daily routines and independence
  • Building strong, meaningful relationships
  • Supporting communication, emotional wellbeing and behaviours
  • Assisting with personal care and medication
  • Supporting community access and activities
  • Working as part of a large, collaborative team
  • Promoting choice, dignity and person-centred care
