Dealership Building Maintenance Technician - Job Description
Position Summary
A Dealership Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the dealership's buildings, grounds, equipment, and overall facility appearance. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
•
Perform general building maintenance and repairs
•
Maintain showroom, offices, service department, and customer areas
•
Repair or troubleshoot minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
•
Replace light bulbs, filters, ceiling tiles, and fixtures
•
Conduct routine inspections of the facility and equipment
•
Maintain dealership grounds including
•
Lawn care
•
Snow removal
•
Salting sidewalks
•
Trash removal
•
Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely
•
Coordinate with outside contractors when needed
•
Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, entrances, and service drive
•
Set up and move furniture, displays, or equipment for events
•
Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests
•
Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA guidelines
•
Keep maintenance records and supply inventory
Qualifications
•
High school diploma or GED preferred
•
Previous maintenance, custodial, or facility experience preferred
•
Basic knowledge of

Ability to use hand and power tools

Valid driver's license with clean driving record
•
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions
