About The Role
Coffey is now hiring a Construction Services Engineer based in Athenry or Maynooth. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast growing pre construction team.

Responsibilities
There is a number of responsibilities and tasks associated with the role which will include but is not limited to the following:
- Generating Traffic Management Plans for specific projects, using rapid plan.
- Manage the closing of licences on the MRL system.
- Assisting site teams in the development of ITPs and assisting in the preparation of preconstruction packages for construction works.
- Assist site teams with preparing as laids and closing out the projects in a timely manner.
- Be a point of contact with internal teams to gather information related to carrying out your own duties. Including the planning team, construction team, design team, commercial team, HSQE team.
- Liaison with 3rd parties. Including Local Authorities, Utility Providers, Statutory Authorities (e.g. An Garda Siochana).
- Liaison with project teams and business departments to successfully undertake department activities.
- Promote continual improvement in all aspects across the Construction Services department.
- Quality control in accordance with company procedures, method statements and quality plans, ensuring records are maintained.
- Maintain an understanding of the Group's Safety Statement.
- Understanding of and adherence to the Group's HSQE Management Systems.
About You
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience to support your competency in the role.
- Minimum of two years' experience, preferably supporting Irish Water contracts
- Team player with the ability to build relationships within the organisation and with other organisations
- The ability to manage work within fixed deadlines.
- Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. stamp 4 or critical skills visa
