About The Role
As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing staff, achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in automotive parts or aftersales, excellent leadership skills, and a commercial mindset.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays' 8.30am - 1pm
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logistics
- Drive branch performance to meet or exceed sales, profit and service targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Oversee stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracy
- Manage, motivate and develop a team of staff including sales advisors, warehouse operatives and drivers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with escalated queries or complaints professionally
- Monitor and analyse branch KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
- Ensure all operational and health & safety procedures are followed
- Support marketing and local business development activities
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role in the motor trade
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, operations or aftersales
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills
- Commercial acumen and a results-driven approach
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- IT literate, with experience using stock and sales systems
- Full UK driving licence
