Position Summary

As a Auto Body Blue Printer/Estimator , you will play a critical role in the repair process by creating accurate and complete repair plans ("blueprints") for each vehicle. You will collaborate with technicians, insurance partners, and internal team members to ensure repairs are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The pay range is $50,000 - $80,000/year based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive and accurate repair plans for each vehicle

Prepare and submit supplements in accordance with insurance and company guidelines

Maintain repair schedules before, during, and after completion

Communicate effectively with insurance file handlers and internal teams

Organize workflow and dispatch work to technicians

Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presentable throughout the repair process

Troubleshoot refinishing and repair issues and implement effective solutions

Follow all company procedures to ensure high-quality repairs

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Understand all products and materials used in the repair process

Comply with safety standards, including spill response and emergency procedures

Work collaboratively with team members across departments

Prioritize tasks to meet production goals and deadlines

Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Uphold company policies, attendance standards, and professional appearance

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of auto body repair processes and estimating systems preferred

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English

Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency

Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
