Quick Lube Technician

Location: Oakes GMC | Kansas City, MO Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: $18 - $25 per hour based off experience

The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services while supporting service department efficiency, repair quality, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in building a long-term career within the automotive industry.

What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, battery replacements, filters, and multipoint inspections

Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and communicate findings with Service Advisors and leadership

Maintain accurate repair order documentation while following dealership and manufacturer standards

Perform final quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Support service lane workflow and assist teammates during busy periods

What You'll Do

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a standard background check

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment

Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a physically active environment

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems

Previous automotive or mechanical experience preferred but not required

Basic set of tools preferred
