Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Sterling Heights, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's specific needs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or related field is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
• Reliability and punctuality IS A MUST.
• Ability to work independently and with other team members.
• Must pass background checks.
• Valid driver's license or State ID is required for this position.
• Own Reliable transportation is a plus.
