Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to clients in Clinton Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role is a plus but not needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience.
• Ability to pass background checks as required.
• Reliable transportation to and from Clinton Township, MI work locations.
