Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Helping with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Providing mobility assistance and support with exercises
• Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Communicating effectively with clients and their family members
• Reporting any changes in clients' conditions or concerns to supervisors promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is a plus
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass background checks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
