Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide quality care and support to clients in Marysville, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in direct care or related field is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must pass background checks and any required health screenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
