Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Petersburg, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.
• Help with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Follow care plans and uphold company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor IS A MUST.
• Valid driver's license or State ID is required for this position.
• Own Reliable transportation is a plus.
