Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Support mobility and transfer needs to ensure client safety
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor clients' condition and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable IS A MUST
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Valid driver's license or State ID is required for the position
• Own Reliable transportation is a plus
