Cook - Berghoff Cafe - $16.50-$18/hour

Description

• This position is responsible for learning and working all the stations on the café line.
• Customer service and food handling are of primary importance.
• Occasional bussing of tables and customer engagement in the dining area of the café will also be required. Responsibilities
• Engage with Café customers to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure the Café back line is clean and orderly.
• Follow sanitation procedures as instructed by supervisor.
• Maintain food quality and presentation of Café items being served.
• Limit waste and utilize existing product to control food costs.
• Cook food to proper temperature, follow recipes, and appropriately plate items. Skills/Experience
• One to two years of experience with increasing responsibility in a full-service or fast casual restaurant.
• Proficient culinary knife skills. Requirements
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Must possess basic math skills.
