About One Behavioral

One Behavioral is a leading outpatient behavioral health clinic in Texas, committed to delivering top-quality mental health and behavioral therapy services. We are launching a new Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program in our Friendswood, TX location and are looking for a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead this initiative.

Job Summary

The BCBA will play a key role in developing and implementing our ABA program for individuals diagnosed with autism and other behavioral disorders . This position is responsible for supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) , creating individualized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and set measurable behavior goals.
  • Supervise RBTs and ensure quality implementation of therapy sessions.
  • Train staff and caregivers on ABA strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, and medical professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with BACB standards and Texas regulations.

Requirements

  • BCBA certification (Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, or a related field + BACB exam + supervised experience).
  • Experience working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities .
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies in an outpatient or clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Texas licensure (if required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience launching or leading an ABA program.
  • Previous work in outpatient mental health clinics .
