Battery Test Technician

Seeking Fresh Graduates in Electrical Engineering or relevant fields to gain experience in the renewable energy industry

Location: Mount Pleasant, PA Pay: $70k-$79k + Overtime

Job Duties

• Execute product specific test plans and procedures based on a specific set of instructions
• Collect and store test data
• Summarize findings in clear and concise reports.
• Create records of test procedures, results, and observations.
• Set up and operate testing equipment and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with test lead to drive tasks onsite.

Requirements

• Knowledge with different types of control systems and communication protocols, such as Modbus, RS485, and CAN
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise with test equipment
• Ability to quickly pick up on tasks (technical aptitude)
• Experience working safely around and hands-on with BESS equipment (or other relevant technology)
• Experience/Familiarity with energy storage systems and related technologies.
• Experience with product testing and instrumentation tools.
• Strong communicator (written and verbal).
• Good technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
